No, No... We Can't Allow That
Health minister quietly confesses inquiry focusing solely on the safety of jabs will not be opened
Last week, a rare debate on jab safety took place in Parliament.
From the transcripts, we found that only 8 MPs attended and spoke out of a potential 650. Among them, three stood out - Danny Kruger (MP for Devizes), Sir Christopher Chope (MP for Christchurch) and Andrew Bridgen (MP for North West Leicestershire).
The debate followed a highly popular petition that garnered over 107,000 signatures requesting the government “Open a Public Inquiry into Covid-19 Vaccine Safety” in late 2021. The petition specifically sought clarity on reports of increased heart attacks and cardiovascular problems throughout the UK.
On 5th January 2022, the government responded:
The Government commissioned a public inquiry into the pandemic and has no plans for a vaccine safety inquiry. Our surveillance strategy for COVID-19 vaccines provides continuous safety monitoring.
The MHRA has authorised COVID-19 vaccine supply following a rigorous review of their safety, quality and efficacy. The clinical trials of the vaccines have shown them to be effective and acceptably safe; however, as part of its statutory functions, the MHRA continually monitors the use of the vaccines to ensure their benefits continue to outweigh any risks.
Makes for some tough tongue-biting reading, huh…
Many pundits and citizens still hoped for an official inquiry. The government can knock down annoying petitions with simple “non-response” responses when they fail to surpass a certain threshold. Since it passed that threshold (100,000 signatures), Parliament had to consider it for debate.
By and large, Kruger, Chope, and Bridgen did a great job. They covered a vast array of concerns. Kruger focused on issues such as administrative governance, Bridgen highlighted transmission misinformation regurgitated by top health officials, while Chope spotlighted the prevalence of adverse events and some of the truly tragic stories that go along with them.
You can read a full transcript of the debate here.
What preceded their speeches, however, confirmed that the government is in flat-out denial about jab risks. Kruger, Chope, and Bridgen are talking to a brick wall. Elliot Colburn, the conservative minister presiding over the debate, signalled as much when at the start of the debate, before hearing any statements, he pronounced:
“I do not think that the Government should launch a public inquiry into vaccine safety; it would be a waste of taxpayers’ money, and is not necessary for reasons that I will discuss…”
“I would go so far as to say that, in the public inquiry into covid, the Government should look at how the vaccine roll-out was such a success, how we can learn from that success and how we can apply those lessons in future circumstances.”
According to the latest Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) report, as of September 28th the MHRA Yellow Card reporting system has recorded a total of 1,517,540 adverse events and injuries based on 464,072 reports. The total number of fatalities reported is 2,272.
It is difficult to think of a word suitable to describe Colburn’s comments with the latter in mind. “A waste of taxpayer money” - for starters, there are 2,272 reasons alone that justify a full-scale and thorough inquiry.
Indeed, since January it has been unclear if the government’s hand could be forced. The current UK Covid Inquiry has thus far only considered government preparedness prior to the pandemic. With more and more studies showing negative outcomes related to myocarditis following “vaccination” - not to mention, the renowned Dr. Aseem Malhotra’s call to “pause and reappraise global vaccination policies” - the possibility of an inquiry into jab safety appeared evitable. However, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health and Public Health, Dr Caroline Johnson, quietly crushed these hopes during the same debate.
Per her own words:
"The government has already commissioned a public inquiry into the pandemic, and COVID vaccines will be reviewed as part of this inquiry. There are no plans for an inquiry solely on vaccine safety.
We are facing a tough winter ahead, and collectively we must do everything we can to protect those most vulnerable and to reduce pressure on the National Health Service.
I would encourage everyone eligible to step forward for their COVID and flu vaccines as soon as they are available.
There is no evidence that people are at an increased risk of cardiac arrest in the days and weeks following the vaccine, and the risk of getting myocarditis or pericarditis after the vaccine remains very low.”
After hours of research this morning, we found that of the major legacy news outlets, only Sky News covered Johnson’s admission. We can expect ministers at risk of serious reprimand to obstruct inquiries. Such is the nature of Whitehall. It is deeply bureaucratic and self-serving. Unfortunately, since much of the media is complicit, they have followed suit.
The sad reality that has dawned on us is that a jab safety inquiry will never be possible unless a majority of legacy media outlets jump on side. The collaborative effort from censored experts, alternative media outlets, and a small collection of honest MPs are just not enough. They simply do not possess that grip over the public narrative, which provokes government panic and response.
Another morbid post on a Friday… we apologise. There comes some good news as the current Covid Inquiry enters Module 2. This week they started reviewing administrative governance and decision-making. Johnson admitted that it will touch on jab safety… It could well be the case that this is the first domino to fall. We’ll keep watching... hoping.
