I spend so much time each day gathering information for articles and posts that it seemed silly not to compose a newsletter.
Below is a summary of the most fascinating articles and information I’ve come across in the last 48-72hrs.
First half of the summaries are available to all. The second half is paywalled as these naturally take time to put together. You can access the entire newsletter - including in-depth reports, past exposés, and factsheets - for just £3 a month.

A recent study published in the journal Diseases has highlighted two instances of previously healthy men who developed Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) after receiving their second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The paper details the conditions of a 49-year-old physician and a 56-year-old man, both of whom began exhibiting symptoms shortly after vaccination. The 49-year-old presented with a range of symptoms including fatigue, flu-like signs, rapid heartbeat, chest pressure, and difficulty breathing three weeks post-vaccination. The second patient experienced similar symptoms, such as sudden fatigue and shortness of breath, 12 days following his dose. The severity of PAH, a disease deemed incurable and often progressive, poses a dire prognosis. Despite a possible initial adaptation by the heart's right side, leading to symptom relief, the condition is unsustainable over the long term due to the heart's inability to handle prolonged increased stress.
Researchers have discovered that approximately 31.2% of individuals vaccinated against Covid in Italy experienced neurological issues, according to a recent Vaccines journal publication. In July 2021, the study surveyed 19,096 vaccine recipients, revealing side effects such as tremors, insomnia, and muscle spasms post-vaccination. Out of the total participants, the Pfizer vaccine was administered to 15,368 people, Moderna's vaccine to 2,077, and AstraZeneca's to 1,651. The results underscore a distinct neurological risk profile for each vaccine, with AstraZeneca's leading to notably higher complications.
The Vires Law Group in Florida is pushing for the prosecution of Dr. Anthony Fauci, alleging his involvement in crimes during the pandemic. The group's press release demands that the Florida Attorney General conduct a thorough investigation. Accusations levelled against Dr. Fauci include murder, terrorism, and various abuses. The National American Renaissance Movement has also submitted a petition to the Florida Attorney General, seeking an investigation into Dr. Fauci, among others. The allegations cover a wide range of serious charges, including fraud, domestic terrorism, murder, violations of biological weapons laws, misconduct, treason, and crimes against humanity.
Journalist Paula Jardine has unveiled details of a deal where American financial support for the Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine appears to have come from the US's Operation Warp Speed program in exchange for British aid in securing authorisation for the Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA vaccine. Under the Operation Warp Speed contract in the US, AstraZeneca channeled funds to Emergent BioSolutions, a vaccine production firm with historical ties to Dr. Robert Kadlec, the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Health and Human Services Department. Kadlec, who previously served as the Director of Biosecurity Policy under President George W. Bush, orchestrated the allocation of billions of dollars to Emergent BioSolutions. This funding was designated for the production of anthrax vaccines intended for emergency stockpiles under the Project BioShield Act of 2004. The recent findings point to a complex web of historical contracts and alliances that have shaped the current landscape of vaccine production and authorisation.
Poland's National Audit Office (NIK) has disclosed a significant surplus of COVID-19 vaccines, attributing it to a falling vaccination rate. The country had procured enough doses to fully vaccinate its population several times over. However, due to the waning interest from the public, 13.1 million doses worth PLN 1 billion (approximately $237.7 million) expired by the end of 2022. Poland, with a population of 37.7 million, spent a total of PLN 13.9 billion (around $3.3 billion) on vaccines.
In a concerning reversal of a two-decade trend, the United States has seen its infant mortality rate escalate, with significant upticks observed in southern and midwestern states. Provisional data from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) indicates that infant deaths climbed from 19,928 in 2021 to 20,538 in 2022, marking a three percent rise. This uptick brings the all-cause infant mortality rate from 5.44 to 5.6 deaths per 1,000 births — a notable increase that represents the first such year-over-year surge since the early 2000s.
As concerns grow over the health implications of ultra-processed foods, marketing curbs in the UK have hit a standstill, while other regions, notably South and Central America, have taken decisive action. Countries like Chile and Mexico have adopted black warning labels on such products. In a significant move, Unicef has halted partnerships with ultra-processed food companies, highlighting the risk to its reputation and acknowledging a "broken food system." Part of the problem is that many “experts” sitting on these panels in support of UPFs are actually funded by the manufacturers of the products.
A study by Durham University researchers has uncovered that graphic warnings can deter individuals from consuming meat. The research, which involved testing various warnings on diners at hot meal canteens, demonstrated that messages highlighting the environmental impact of meat production, associated health risks, and the possibility of future pandemics could influence meal choices. When the warnings were paired with images, they led to a reduction in the selection of meat dishes by 7% to 10%.
The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has intensified his cautionary stance on climate change, moving from last year's stark "code red for humanity" warning due to the rise in CO2 emissions from human activities to a more dire proclamation that the "era of global warming" has ended, giving way to an "era of global boiling." However, many temperature recordings from this year contradict the secretary’s fearmongering:
- An astonishing -62.4°C was recorded in Tongulakh, Siberia on January 14th (all-time station record).
- On February 4th 2023, Halifax airport in Nova Scotia saw its coldest wind chills ever recorded, with temperature plummeted to -43°C.
- The temperature at Kinbrace in the Scottish Highlands was recorded at –15.2 Celsius, making it the coldest March in the country since 2010.
- In February, the summit of Mount Washington in New Hampshire reported a wind-chill low of –78 Celsius (–108 Fahrenheit) — the coldest temperature ever recorded in the United States.
