The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is actively investigating the death of a preterm infant who developed sepsis after consuming a probiotic supplement named "Evivo with MCT Oil". The product, manufactured by Infinant Health, has now been recalled. The FDA issued a stern warning against the use of unapproved probiotics for infants.
