• The UK Passes Sweeping New Surveillance and Censorship Measures in The Online Safety Bill

The UK has ratified the highly debated Online Safety Bill, which many argue is one of the most profound breaches of privacy and freedom of speech witnessed in a Western democracy. Before this legislation, there was a general understanding that the internet, while vast, required certain protective measures, especially for the younger demographic, to shield them from the arrows of harmful digital content. However, this bill doesn't stop at mandating the removal of illicit content. It beckons the titans of social media to step up as guardians, tasked with defending users from messages with malevolent undertones, online harassment, and graphic content.

• New German Study Finds With Each Covid Vaccination, Healthcare Workers Get Sicker

A whopping 27.9% of the participants found themselves needing at least a day's respite post-booster. From the select group of 21 who opted for the AstraZeneca jab initially, an eye-opening 52% (11 individuals) found themselves on sick leave. Moderna, too, didn't fare exceptionally, nudging 106 out of the 255 (or 46%) who received it as their final shot towards recuperation. A parallel tale emerges when they observed healthcare workers reaching for medication to alleviate the immediate vaccine side-effects. Scientists conducted a study involving breastfeeding mothers to examine the presence of COVID vaccine mRNA in breast milk. They collected frozen breast milk samples before and after COVID vaccination from 13 lactating women. The analysis revealed that in 10 out of 13 cases, trace amounts of mRNA from the COVID vaccine were detected in breast milk up to 45 hours post-vaccination. This mRNA was found within extracellular vesicles (exosomes) in the breast milk.

Interestingly, the study's introduction prominently highlighted that the mRNA was not biologically active, potentially leading readers to conclude that the presence of COVID vaccine mRNA in breast milk might not be concerning. However, buried within the study's results, the authors explained testing the mRNA in the HT-29 cell line was essentially unproductive because the COVID vaccine mRNA extracted from the vials did not express.
