Thanks for your post concerning the horrible assassination of Charlie. You were fortunate to have met him. I’ve watched his videos for 10 years and always come away impressed with his knowledge and calmness while eagerly answering questions. He always gave anyone a fair chance to express themselves, but responded with his knowledge of the subject. He knew the Bible well and didn’t hesitate to proclaim his love for Jesus. His voice will be missed by many. The pictures of the suspect show him in the ball cap and another with his long hair. He most likely is associated with the violent trans community. If some get upset by hearing that, they are delusional if not seeing the violence they create.
"What we do know is this: free speech remains the only antidote to political violence"
And when free speech is a crime, what then? You cannot fight that with words. No one seems to realise that in the end one only has violence to defend oneself with.
We need to go back to a time when, as a society, we all agreed that people have a right to offend others. Nobody should have to take back something they said just because someone took offence to it.
If a gunshot can be faked in a movie, as it can, very effectively, I see no reason why it can't be faked at a live event. And it seems odd to me that footage after the event looks less like a crime scene (all taped off etc) and more like the aftermath of a stage production.
It seems to me that the-powers-that-be are (again) trying to divide people, and that it is working.
Don't flatter yourself. Nothing has 'gone straight over' my head. While your cui bono is both limited and puerile..
What state? Which part of what state?
Simply 'informing readers of latest reports' is amplification.. whether you agree with what is said or not.. If you haven't learned that by now - that this is how social media works... then better you don't post anything.
First you said I didn't address cui bono. Now, it's both "limited and puerile". Spreading information with express caution isn't necessarily inflammatory. If you think it is, then maybe social media isn't for you. And I will continue posting as I like thank you very much.
There are many "events" where it is not obvious that anyone benefits - in the sense that the event was created by someone who would benefit. But, in this case, it is clear that someone thought they would benefit from the action - the gunman, at least. Then there are the movements and people that may, or may not, identify with or support the gunman. To call this discussion "divisive inflammatory shit" is ridiculous, but typical of certain political movements that throw insults at anything they don't like. That sort of discourse has become all too common. You know what happens when we stop talking, don't you?
I'm much more concerned about what happens in the early stages after an event such as this and about the effect of covering and thus amplifying poorly corroborated narratives and playing into the hands of those seeking to deepen division and enmity.
To state something and then say 'but we don't know enough' is disingenuous to say the very least.
Yes, I'm afraid it will certainly look like that from either side.
But this makes it even more important to repeat constantly how this divisive situation is the deliberate work of dark forces. And that the only escape is for the 'sides' now so divided to unite against their real age-old enemies. For both 'sides' are being led by just those enemies.
If they fail to see this, then they will only find out when it really is much too late.
And through the smoke and flames they will catch glimpses of their technocratic neo-feudal prison. Ready for all those 'lucky' enough to survive...
Then all that suggests to me is how class struggle has been completely eliminated from the dialectic. Which is just the way this was envisaged at 'The End of History'..
Is it really that hard to see what is actually going on here?
How about taking the only real perspective? The economic one. What has actually happened since 2008 - the first of the more recent entirely fabricated crises ..

Why do you assume that this event is real rather than staged?
Also, I think it's worth reconsidering merits of the sentence "I’m not an emotional bloke, but Christ." (for more than one reason)
Staged? So the police etc were all in on it??
If it had been staged, to what extent would the police have had to be in on it?
Is there confirmation of a gunshot wound available from paramedics, doctors, and multiple independent coroners?
I think you need help
I would love to know how your mind works (or not). What was your theory (because surely by now you will admit it all happened)?

I’m dumbfounded. This will take a lot of people along time to get over. Let’s unite and pray for him and his family, love.
'There have been reports about Antifa or transgender-linked inscriptions on the bullets found by Utah police, but we don’t know enough...'
Doesn't stop you saying that though, does it? And playing right into the hands of the ghouls...
The deliberate divisive nature of this event is NOT something to be promoted by saying stupid things like that..
A better angle would have been to discuss cui bono? But no, you have to come out with these 'few words' of divisive inflammatory shit.
Simon, I'm simply informing readers of the latest reports.
What's inflammatory to you is not to others. I trust my few readers are objective enough.
And the wider point made in the article is about who stands to benefit—the state.
But that seems to have gone straight over your head.

Is it not reasonable to step back and ask, "How do we know that events happened in the way that we are told?"
It is not difficult to fake a gunshot wound
And there is plenty else in the media that looks fake, e.g. in relation to the Lucy Connolly story
Is there confirmation of a gunshot wound available from paramedics, doctors, and multiple independent coroners?
This comment has not aged well (even after a few days), has it!
Or if you don't like what JJ posts just scroll on past abd gi d something that more fits your worldview

You don't think the "division and enmity" is already so deep that it is beyond healing?
Yes, I'm afraid it will certainly look like that from either side.

You are too cryptic for me.
